URGENT help!car MUST run in 2 days! broke solenoids!!

hello. Well everyone, i was finally able do it. I am now the very proud owner of a stock 1995 FD! i flew from st augustine to st louis to pick it up, then drove about 6 hours to richmond ky(where im originally from) to spend time with family a few days, and in two days i must leave for st augustine FL. thats all i have time for at the moment.

quick description of problem. Hooked up a boost gauge. no secondary turbo. .......Investigated rats nest with flashlight and diagram.......likely problem, 2 metal tubes(not sure what proper name is) are missing the vacuum hoses on BOTH ends. These 2 are NOT the empty tube, which i also found.(later discussion, but why would there be an empty one).

I took it upon myself to replace these hoses. In removing the 2 solenoids from the intake manifold, (wastegate control, and turbo precontrol, if im correct in reading the diagram) i BROKE the, i assume, plastic nipple on BOTH stupid solenoids, FLUSH with the solenoid!!!!!!!!!!!

and thats where i stand. .......what do i do now. ???Im an idiot! its saturday morning, and the car needs to drive 12 hours monday morning!!! can i find replacements in time? or can someone tell me how to "macgyver" something!

if i cant fix.....will the car run without these? please school me. lecture on timing if u must, ....i just need help QUICK

thank you very much

Oh and make sure it's "safe" on plastics.

Plug the hoses. You'll get 8psi boost. Don't drive it with those hoses open.

The empty metal hose is normal on 5 speeds.

-Get some 1/4 inch tubing diameter
-Sand down the remaining tube
-Drill the solenoid with a bit, with a suitable diameter for the 1/4 tubing
-If you can, flare the 1/4 tubing
-Epoxy it into the drilled hole

This can actually be a permanent solution, if you wish for it to be. Good luck with your drive!

Unless you drill way too far, you shouldn't have a problem with the solution that I have listed.

ok. i have a new issue! are the late model 95's solenoid rack different? im using rob robinettes diagram. and solenoid "d"....looks to be EGR is not even on my stock car? and the hose leaving it going to the lower intake manifold is not present either, theres not even a place cast in the lower manifold for it??? according to the diagram there are 4 vac hoses stacked on top of each other, going to 4 nipples on the lower manifold......mine only has 3???? heres the diagram im using. and what is actually missing on my car.

Do you have a check engine light? If no then don't worry about the missing solenoid, it's for the EGR which only came on CA models. No EGR = no EGR control solenoid. If you are suppose to have the EGR solenoid and don't, the check engine light will come on after a short time driving.

Can't tell what tube you are talking about on the other issue.
