I’m am old school Rx3-SP guy mainly. I’ve had a couple R100s but not in last seven years. I just came across field car R100 that is been sitting since 1979 and the same owner since 1983 locked the doors when he got it and he handed me the keys and said you won’t find this again. He said he locked the doors so nobody would get in the car until they got to rebuilding the motor. So anyway it needs a trunk lid it needs a 10 a motor I might put a 13b in it, wish me luck!!
Trunk lid is completely rusted,
gas door has rust around it?
10A is in the trunk torn apart, and rusted
good news, no rust anywhere else
floors and trunk perfect!

Welcome!! That's a great find!! You may have to contact Atkins Rotary or maybe Mazdatrix and see if they have any 10A engine parts available if you want to stick with the original engine. Would be cool to see more pictures of the car!!
10A in trunk completely disassembled, looks like ALL exhaust, emissions, intake is all in the trunk!!! Everything as it was placed in 1979. Gonna take more pix and will post them when I get a chance! I’m needing to buy a running 10A if anyone has a lead on one, would hate to not make it stock, when it’s so close to original, thinking might be fun to leave the patina for a while. Anybody know of o blue trunk lid?
