Hey bro, Im also pretty new to the RX7 and rotary engines, having purchased one a few months back and will be coming home from iraq in less than a month to it. One thing I do suggest is doing your research, these forums are a treasure chest of knowledge and you should spend a good amount of time looking through old topics to see what has and hasnt worked for people, and asking any questions you have. Keep up on maintainance, do oil changed regularely, if your car doesnt have reliability modifications on it then invest some money in those, for info on that look in the tech forums, theyve got topics on reliability mods, and plenty of other things like which oils are best to use. But like I said do your research otherwise youll probably just end up spending a ton of money fixing a broken car or destroying yet another great car, which no one wants to see happen.

Can i also ask the question of how do i tell what model it is? When i do my insurance quote online they ask me is it a type r etc.... I think they give me a choice of 3 different 1's, and i really dont know how to tell... Would be grateful if you could shed some light on this aswell for me...
