New to the rx7 scene!!
You plan on taking the veil side kit off? Or is it invader, anyway..you should get the stock trim back for the car. I think stock looks super nice. Anyone know how many FD's made it to the UK, I've never looked much into their import numbers, I'm sure that you guys were one of those Grey Market locations.
Nice find though. How much did you pick it up for by chance?

I dont plan on taking anything off the exterior as that would mean a new paint job, as i didnt have it sprayed and wouldnt be able to match the colour again-expensive job for a decent finish and colour-money i dont plan on spending.....
I actually prefer the look of mine to the stock trim......
I been trying to look up how many were imported to the uk, but havent really found out-all i know is that there isnt many round......
I picked it up for £3500, but not sure if that is good or bad.... I think it is worth a bit more myself......
Just in the middle of fitting some ice so the pics of interior will have to wait im soz, wont be long tho, nearly done......
Next nice day i will take some better pics and post em too....

A lot of the problems figured out on my car have been a result of asking questions here.
You said you were going to change your coolant here is what the FSM (Factory Service Manual)says:
STEP 1:
1. Remove radiator cap and loosen the drain plug.
2. Drain coolant
3. Flush the cooling system with water until all traces of color are gone; then let the system drain completely
4. Install drain plug
5. Perform air bleeding (Step 2)
Step 2:
When refilling the cooling system after draining the coolant, perform the following.
1. Slowly fill the radiator up with ethyleneglycol-based coolant up to the filler neck.
FILLING PACE:
1 Liter/min max
Coolant capacity
8.8 Liters
2. Fill the coolant reservoir up to the F mark.
3. Install the coolant cap and radiator cap securely and start the engine.
4. Run the engine at idle until it reaches normal operating temperature
CAUTION: If temperature increases beyond normal there is excessive air in the system. Stop the engine and allow it to cool; then repeat steps 1-4.
5. Run the engine 2,200-2,800 RPM for 5 minutes
6. Stop the engine and allow it to cool
7. Repeat steps 1-6; then go to step 8
WARNING: Do not remove the radiator cap until the engine is cool. Remove coolant caps slowly and carefully with a thick rag
8. Remove the coolant filler cap and radiator cap, and verify that the engine coolant level is near the filler neck. If not, repeat steps 1-8
9. Fill the reservoir to the F mark
Nice car by the way, the FD's are a lot of fun to drive!

Too many times one will see a car that has been "Riced out". By that i mean it looks like a tuner's parts catlog has vomited on the car. your car appears to have been well thought out and marvelously executed. As a former Civic owner with $13000 in mods and bodywork,I cannot stand to see a good car with unpainted, poorfitting bodykits. This kit adds to the sexiness of the lines of the original car. I have been given an 82 Rex 1-owner in immaculate condition and can't deceide what if anything to do to it. I hope if I do change it, it looks as good (or better
) as yours. Enjoy Responsibly!
