Fortinately it not going good at all I've had my car for two weeks now and already have some serious issues! Its lost nearly all power and blowing the coolant out of the filler caps and over flow. i believe I'm headed down a long hard road of rx7 life. I'm not sure if i want to do a 3mm rebuild or a 4.3 5speed chevy swop. I'm open to suggestions so fill free to share ur advice and opinions on this matter.

My son has done a rebuild, turbo conversion and LS1 swap. Each has its advantages and challenges. If done right, the LS1 swap creates a reliable, fuel-efficient and fast car. It's also the most expensive option.

Well adam1247 I'm currently debating on weather or not to keep the one i have or sale it for what i got it for. I've done a compression. check and its pulsing a 65lbs of pressure so i know the apex seals are still intact I'm going to see if i can watch how to video's tomorrow and figure out how to do a pressure check on the cooling system. If that checks out ok and i still can't figure out why my little red vert fc is sick she might be up for $1500. So just keep and eye on my thread and u could become an owner sooner then u think.

hey man you may have a coolant seal leak, is it blowing smoke out the tailpipe? you may want to try some alumaseal in the radiator if thats the case I've heard good things from some 2nd gen owners please do the research b4 doing this though to diagnose the problem it should be only done as a last resort to get a little more life out of the engine and it will still be due for a rebuild. water getting into the rotor isn't the end of the world it can even be used to steam clean the carbon build up out of there. The main thing is having good apex seals. check this out.
