Hello all,

I should be picking up my 1993 rx7 this weekend. Can't wait. Joined here so I could learn some about the car.

It has some work done to it so it will be fun finding out all of the items that have been changed.

I also have a 1995 240sx that I am slowly rebuilding. S14SR20DET currently at 300whp soon to be more seeing that the motor is smoking like a turbodiesel.

My name is Stanley and I have been around the local scene for a ton of years.

Here is a shot of the RX7:

Here is the S14:

Another passion of mine. It has taken a back speed to the cars again.

I know the rx7 has a abs light up and an issue with the oil pressure sender.

I would rather keep that info to myself. I have seen what some with the same milage go for. The mix of mods are different and so are the circumstances.

I feel I will be paying a good price and the seller is happy. This should all go down soon.

Thanks for the compliments. It has a single turbo conversion, pfc, kaaz limited slip, upgraded fmic, triple digit mileage new motor, suspension bits, wheels etc.

I have to pour over it this winter figuring all that is in it.

40,000ish miles on the chassis.

Rides solid and quick.

Thank you very much aggro crag!

I am in Central NJ.

First picture with the sand is the pine barrens. The second picture with the rocks is Rausch Creek in PA.

I don't really like going to the pineys much. Too much mud. My alternator has a habit of eating it until it stops spinning. I do go there yearly for the jeepers cleanup:

RX7 is home now. Can't wait for the good weather to come around. Winter will give me some time to change the headlights, battery and possibly the wheels.

Needs some tlc though, coolant sensor and oil pressure sensor.

Got plates on the car and was able to drive it for a couple days before the weather got bad.

How do you guys keep your licenses with these things!!??

The car is a blast. I can and have found some sore spots that need help.

Rear diff bushings are blown. The diff shook so violently that I watch how I lay onto the throttle.

I need to go over my coolant hoses.

SBG headlights came in so I have to take them out of the box and install them. I can barely see at night with the stock lights.

I love this car.

Congrats bro. What's done to the car mod wise?

For the diff bushings I recommend Superpro or Prothane. Its a good idea to check out the toe links and trailing arms at the same time, as well as the rear pillow ***** as they can also make noise. We carry both.

I generally like the Mazda oem coolant hoses but I also have Samco and Mishimoto for the upper and lower radiator hoses.

The Sakebomb lights are great. We install a lot of them.

Let me know if you need anything. Be more than happy to help.

I tell you it is a learning experience. The seller was knew what he wanted and had the right people install it. I am going over the car (when it is warmer I work outside and it is damn cold in my garage) finding things every day.

I don't know the size of the turbo on it. There are no markings on the body. It might be the turbo sold with the Greddy kit he was originally running. From what I was told the boost was cranked up and the old motor pooped the bed. So now there is a new motor in there with the boost turned down.

They built a custom intercooler for it which is larger then the Greddy unit.

I was told it was tuned for 10psi but noticed with a buddy that it has a two stage manual boost controller on there. I did a pull and read 15psi at the gauge.

It is a R1.

Volk RE30s.

Racing beat springs.

Battery relocated to the hatch.

It is an awesome easter egg hunt. I look and find cool stuff.

Diff bushings I had Superpro followed by whiteline.

I haven't looked into the toe links and trailing arms yet. All I had was the Superpro bushings for those set on my list.

I was considering running a set of Samco. Do you find that they don't flare out as much as the OEM?

They are home. Waiting for a day when it is warm to install them. Nothing like working on a car that is frozen and plastic bits that are brittle from the cold.

Will do. I have your Oil Filler Neck one on of my lists.

I have spent the majority of my time researching suspension changes I want to make. All with upgrading the spring rates and making a change so I can clear the wheels and tires I want to run. I am coming close to finishing that so that will give me more time to obsess over other items.

Priority list goes as:

1. Coolant level sensor.
2. Gauges.
3. Suspension - Bushings and Arms.
4. Garfinkle Engine Dampener
5. Suspension - JKStill based Koni setup.
6. CCWS - Bryan Downs & Howard Coleman setup.

Throw in maintenance items like a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, oil change, fuel filter change etc.
