after driving and working on a few fb’s and a 79 with some of my friends I got hooked on the wankle. Now I get to say I’m also an owner, I just bought an 85 gsl-se. just in time for my birthday, the best part is it’s running an aggressive ported 13b out of a 91. So much fun to drive, only in need of some minor parts. As of now it needs a new oil cooler crushwasher and a heater control valve
I plan to wire the equalizer into the aftermarket stereo if I can.
Nice. That red interior reminds me of my tornado silver 83 which had a racing beat carb on it. My car didn't have much power but was a blast to drive.
I believe the seats are out of the second gen the motor came from, but they match the interior and factory floor mats, that are not being used to keep them nice. Cars are a blast to drive. Have to replace cracked heater core to make that happen again.
Well that’s good to know, was under the impression that they where fc seats from the old owner, good thing it’s an easy swap to do. At least that’s what I’ve read about here, finding nice fc seats in the PNW might be hard though; Lots of rain in the winter.
It has crossed my mind, but right now it’s not going to be. The Sapir and one other came with the car, they are studded tires for winter driving. But Oregon can get nasty winters so I’ll let her sleep during the winter for the most part. Why drive a classic when I can take my Subaru with awd in the winter
