New(ish) member with a new car

Hey everyone! I believe I have an old account that i'd like to update, maybe even change my user name if that is possible?!?! I know on the site that I am an admin on, we have rules about changing your user name, but a member has to have less than 100 posts in order to do so. So, if any admins read this, please email me at onlyinachevy@gmail.com and let me know how to look up my old account and possibly change everything or let me know if I should just leave that account dormant and start a new one with my new RX-7.

Anywho, now that I'm done with the pleasantries; recently I purchased a 1990 RX7 vert. It is in pretty good condition having a new engine, tranny, driveshaft and rack-n-pinion put in it within the last 30k - 35k miles. It also has a new ragtop within the past 5 years.

Car history from the best of my knowledge... It was purchase in 1990 and the people that I bought if from bought it from their niece 16 years ago. She drove it like someone that doesn't care for a car, mechanically, and thusly drove it without oil hence the new engine and other parts of the drivetrain that needed attention. I found the car, with them 14 years ago and have consistently, yearly, asked them if they were ready to sell it. Finally, after 14 years, they said "yes". SO, I picked it up from them 4 or 5 weeks ago for $3k. They put a lot of money into it when they got it from their niece because they wanted a "fun" car they could take up to Colorado or other surrounding states on weekend excursions. Unfortunately, Vicki, ended up with cancer and age that made it really tough for her to get in and out of it, and enjoy the car as she did years earlier. On a side note, she beat the cancer but you can't beat age! SO, now it's mine. Honestly, I think they sold it for far less than what it's worth, but they did say that I was the only person over the past 14 years that has been to their Bed and Breakfast that paid any attention to the car (and they think I'm a pretty nice guy (I wouldn't say I had them fooled, but I'm glad they don't know me on a personal level)). So, here is what I bought for $3k:

Got a bit of "sunlight damage on driver's side"

Other than the "iron on" patch, the interior is in great shape.

She looks Sah Weet with the top down too!

Anywho, I hope you like her...and even if you don't....I do.
