New GSL-SE Owner

Hey everyone, I just picked up a 1985 GSL-SE. The second owner, who I bought the car from, had owned it since 1988. 77k original miles. Interior is in great shape, but paint will need some attention. I'm used to Z cars, but am thoroughly impressed by this car. Interior quality is much higher than what was found in Japanese competitors back in 85, the gearbox feels really good, and the engine is smooth. I own a 2017 Nismo 370z as well and I hate to say it but.... this car might be more fun to drive!

I'm going to start by doing basic maintenance work (replace fluids, inspect brakes, etc.) and will likely replace the struts soon. Other than that I plan to drive it to car shows and enjoy it.

As a fellow 1985 gsl-se owner I think see looks great! Mine is going on 230k+ miles and running strong! I am glad to hear you are enjoying her! I have a 2006 blue 350z I got at a steal and it has become my fun drifter! Your 2017 nismo sounds pretty!

Wow 230k miles! I have a few odds and ends to work on with the RX7, but nothing too major.

The Z is mostly a weekend car that I rarely drive. It's pretty fun to stare at lol

That's a beautiful GSL-SE!! It looks to have been well kept. Did the previous owner supply service or parts paperwork? Do you have the original window sticker? There aren't a ton left out there that are unmodified. Great plan to keep it as original as possible. The SE is a fantastic car in stock form and is only increasing in value!

She is pretty! Red isn't my favorite color for anything but that 370z looks great! Certainly gorgeous.

That brown on brown of your se is growing on me. I really like it! I hope you are doing great sir!

Incredibly clean and bone stock... rare indeed. And unlike most of us with 4x110 hubs you'd actually be able to find 15" wheels that fit! I assume this is your first 7?
