New FD owner in ATL area

Just purchased my first RX-7 a couple days ago. Looking forward to learning everything about this car and the modding community.

The previous owner said they were spirit r wheels. I'll take a closer look when i get home and get the other details if I can find them. I'm pretty sure it's a 18" wheel too.

As far as I can tell they’re BBS RGR’s in diamond black. Not actual spirit r’s
225/45R18 front
245/40R18 back

Engine and turbos were replaced at 81000. Not sure exactly why. I suspect a turbine impeller separated and shredded the engine on its way through but your guess is as good as mine.

A ton a small projects to work on... replace shifter grommets and boots, fix mirror switch, power antenna, etc.

Nice! I just moved to Smyrna as well (right next to The Battery) and bought my FD last year. Currently converting to single turbo as we speak. Mine is BB as well.

Currently planning on keeping it the way it is. The last month has been all about getting the bugs worked out. Electronics on this car need a lot of attention.

I do most of the maintenance myself but prior to purchase I used Mazcare in Marietta for a pre-purchase inspection. I was super impressed with both Charlie Marks and Charlie Shatzen. They are the first place I'm going to if I can't fix the car myself.
