Be very careful with the mods before you get a PFC or any other aftermarket computer. As others have stated, when you open up the intake and exhaust on these things, they obviously breathe better and can go lean. You don't want your next mod to be a new engine!

right on. nice buy man. its good to see more entusiasts in tx. I am an army brat and i ended up in tx after my father was medically seperated in 98 from ft hood. If you ever swing through fort worth drop a link to the thread. maybe my 8 will be running with the swap by then.

Well yesterday will working on the RX7 my friend who is a ROTARY GURU, by the way he is from PR and has been working with rotary engines for a good 10 years now told me that their is no mechanical problems with the engine, turbo or tranny, it is running strong and it appears that the car had been service and oil, spark plugs and all other routine maintenance was conducted, properly. With that said I am going to get the 7 painted, it has some nicks and scratches and the hood appears to be some what out of alignment, witch all are easy fix. I will install the Boost gage, temp gauge and oil gauge, this weekend and next week is of to the body shop. I will post some more pictures soon.
Thanks to all you for your support.

Very nice ride! Congrats!
I cant remember his name, but I dealt with a gent at Sahara -- he was one of the coolest guys I dealt with while shopping for my FD 'remote' (from TX). While the car was white (the color I REALLY wanted, but wound up getting a montego blue) when it was inspected it didnt pass muster
"best looking FD, until we put it up on the lift and looked underneath" -- The guy at Sahara was understanding and totally cool about it.
Good buy!!
