oh, and yeah you should make a list or you'll forget things like i did. after i sunk all this money into the engine and drivetrain, rims and tires, i go to get it aligned and they tell me that my rack is shot. i had known that for quite some time, but completely forgot about it as i got excited hunting for single turbo kits lol

lol my engine and trans were the worst condition set they'd ever seen lol. i had cracked housings with chatter marks all around and a new trans was cheaper than what the parts would've been to rebuild it haha

i have a gutted 85 first gen. have alot of my friends pushing for a small block swap... even had someone offer to sell me a 327 for it at 100 bucks. im a rotor head tho. who knows if i cant get it all sorted out i may just have to settle for pistons.

Had a huge setback. Back to looking for the right one. Wife's really behind it now if I promise to make it a V8 conversion. She liked the '79 I had before, but loved my old Monte Carlo because of the torque. So, we're looking again. First gen non-running is the order of the day.
