Looking for my next first gen
I live in halthorpe Maryland and my first car was a sun beam silver metallic 1979 rx7 with a 4 speed manual. I think about that car every day. I just sold my rx8 in hopes of finding another first gen rx7 and that's why I joined rx7club. I miss the feeling of driving a street legal go kart.
This was king Mitsubishi car meet in Maryland a couple years ago.
This was fort armistead in Maryland.

Welcome and good luck with your search. Silver SA's are a little few and far in-between it seems today, but they are out there. With some patients you'll be able to find cars from complete projects to showroom looking new. My advice is to purchase the best condition car you can afford up front. Be advised, the best cars now a days can go into the mid to high teens. Avg drivers can still be had for half that much.
Your 4 speed car must have been an S model. Those are normally a little less expensive as compared to the GS cars.

To the original poster, ask and you shall receive: tmet07 above has an ad for a silver GS, he just placed in the for sale section.

it was moved to the classifieds as this is the intro section. if u have a car/parts for sale, it goes in the proper section. and i seriously doubt the OP is looking to spend 10k for one.
to the OP, have u checked the classifieds of this forum?

Thanks Banzai. I wasn't actually ready to sell it, was just commenting on the OP.
To rxtasy3:
How do you know how good the car is or how much the OP wants to spend? It was a starting point going off of what Banzai suggested they are worth. Thanks for steering him away.
Too may rules about where post should be placed, probably wrong place for this...

Yes ive checked but to no luck. And yeah a 12a car isn't really worth 10k to me. Not looking for a mint car looking for something kinda rough that runs.

Ebay and bat really screwed prices up for these cars. I remember when you could pick one up for 1,500$ like 3 years ago and it would be in road legal condition. Now people want 3k for a pile of rust or a roller without a engine or transmission. I've seen a car for sale for close to 2 years in ok shape but they just wanted too much and nobody was willing to buy it. Sad but I can see a lot of these cars being parted out in the future for the simple fact the owner wants way to much money.

Im just going to save up and try to find a unicorn for 4-5k. I see them all the time on Facebook market place. Not many posted on here though. People think first gens are rare but they're practically everywhere. Sellers don't understand that if it says 50k it's more like 150k or 250k because once they hit 100k they roll back to 0. The other thing they don't understand is the ones that go for 10k have virtually no rust and are generally in pristine condition.
