Hello everyone,
Name is Paul, i live in West-by-god Virginia (have all my teeth, and own shoes, lol)

Have a soft spot for 80s model "sports cars".. my dad had a Rx7 1st gen (that i dont remember) and i own a mazda 3 as a DD.

24 years old, just recently got married to a beautiful older (shes 26) NICU Nurse.. had a project car (1985 Dodge Conquest) that i was working on and it was stolen out of my apartment complex (wasnt registered/insured) was a complete loss..

wife has graciously allowed me the back wall in her garage for a project car..

Now on to the project!
Going tonight to look at a 84 Gsl-se Rx7 for sale locally.
what all do i need to look for? any problematic areas? and the guy was asking $1500.

Well i got her home, ended up after 2 days of fighting with my friend's dad's trailer.. he was like "couldnt we just call ____ and have him tow it?"

so we ended up calling the tow company and did an "off the charts" tow for $50, got it home in one piece!

Need to throw a battery in it (todays task i believe)

and i had a question.. previous owner (has two FC's and this FB) said that the distributor was bad, which was throwing timing off and causing rotor 2 to over heat drastically.. is there any way to check if the DIZZY is bad? id hate to replace something that doesnt need replaced.. lol
