NC Long-time RX enthusiast

Love the style and drive of 7's. Have owned all three generations, S, Turbo II, and FD Touring. My stable is currently filled with British machinery though; Classic Mini (1968 Morris Cooper 1000 clone in Snowberry White), 1976 Lotus eclat under restoration with 2007 Lotus Aubergine Purple metallic paint, a 2006 Laser Blue Lotus Elise, and a 2017 Triumph Street Cup in black.

I bought my FB from the classifieds for peanuts back in the late 1990's, was a fantastic car with clean lines and a broken window. A simple trip to the local junkyard sourced the missing window and I then drove that car for the following three years. Shortly after i picked up a 6 year old FD. I loved the lines of the FD and the chassis, but never warmed to the on/off nature of the TT setup. I sold the FD after moving to California, then a few years later picked up a project TII. The FC was always my favorite bodystyle, and loved the mix between aggressive wheel arches and the flowing nose and sharp tail with the GTU-style spoiler. After replacing the blown turbo and oil-soaked exhaust, I could never get the car to pass CA smog, so I sold it before being able to enjoy it. I hope to have another Turbo II someday to drive and enjoy (in black).

solo,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your rotary story. I don't think too many people would knock your British stable.

Despite you owning rotaries before, is this your first time accessing our forum?
