Bit by bit it's all coming out!
Hi all I am new to the site but have read posts for ages and thought it was time to get involved... bought my car early in the year with known problems, ran it for a while with suspected blown coolant seals( lots of white smoke until it was really warmed up) but thrashing it and keeping an eye on levels it was alright.... until it wasn't.... over heated stuck in traffic ( didn't normally take it out when this was likely to happen but it was an emergency involving a hot girl) and although it got me back home it never started again! Changed plugs and deflooded(I suspected flooding because of the laboured drive back after the over heat?)
So I have started pulling her to bits! 🙏 With only you tube and hopefully you guys for guidance....the plan is to rebuild myself but as I'm going deeper I think I'm going to need more than just a set of seals lol 😭.
Would like to know anybody's thoughts on home rebuilding with no experience 😉 cheers

Haven't rebuilt myself, but a buddy of mine has. He swears by the Mazdatrix rotary rebuild DVD
https://www.mazdatrix.com/product/vi...ow-to-rebuild/
I've watched it and yeah, looks to be well worth the $30 to see how to do it right, step by step. Good luck!

I am glad you are undergoing this project! I hate to see it when people let RX7s go to the junk pile. Really tugs on the chest. XD
