Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Joe I'm from Northeast PA and I just bought my first RX7, it's a 1983 GSL with a 12a. It's all stock and it is absolutely gorgeous for it's age, could be show car. After some careful research I had discovered that in my naivety in buying my first one I inadvertently purchased one with the dreaded dowel pin oil leak. The PO said it was likely just a gasket that needed replacing and an easy fix, guess I fell for it The car still runs great and I'm not going to let it stop me from enjoying it, I think I am going to start saving to do a 13B swap as I'm already craving more power from the car. Hope to get more involved in the community on here and start my journey learning about these cars. Cheers!

Sweet! I've owned many 1st gens and loved them all. My favorite was a black GSL-SE. I was very sad to let that car go.
