I think that rotor motor looks at home back there. I'd like to see it finished.
The 914 reminds me of my first car, Pontiac Fiero. The trick thing to do back then was to stuff a Cadillac Northstar V8 in the little fire ball. Seeing your car makes me think how cool it would have been to have some rotors spinning behind the drivers seat.

I have a 914 with a Buick 215 v8 in it. It only pushed around 220-230hp but it flat out flies. I have the motor out at the moment for a suspension ear that cracked. I'm still having a hard time imagining a motor that can rev up to 10k. Thats why I would love to drive one to know that feeling. We will see what happens. Right now I think it will be put on hold until funds allow me to make a move with it. My
v8 car takes priority right now.

That's interesting I've always wondered what a mid rotary setup would feel like?

Very interesting combination.
Always loved Porsche's and started to love Mazda's a couple of years ago ;-)

looks quite nice! Cool to have both ends of the engine spectrum in a 914. A V8 and a Wankel...
