IL hi im a noob

Hey guys my name is jon i live in southern illinois and i have a black 90 gtu that i am trying to get running. i got it for around 800 with coilovers, racingbeat exhaust manifold an s4 rear end and some other stuff. hope to find some help and some friends.

Well, Jon, that's a nice buy-in price for the car you got. There's no end to the peeps on the site who will want to tell you how to build the car, so soak it all in and then work out a game plan.

Thank you yeah i think i got a very good deal on the car just wish i could find the vacuum leak so it would idle lol

it needed a primary fuel injector and a exhaust gasket and now it wont idle

and it is a greddy exhaust

You should use propane gas to find your vacuum leak. It's more effective than carb cleaner.

I'll have to give that a shot...still trying to chase down a good one on the '84. Have you had any luck with your car, soilgtu?

no not yet havent had the time been to busy painting soil87rx7's car once its done i will get on it tho going to go up to the jdm importer in st louis hopefully this weekend maybe get some more parts for the car tho. hopefully its just the intake gasket leeking cause i can fix that. hows the weather down in arlington mar3 i kinda miss it/
