Hello everyone

Well, I registered so I could look into buying an RX-7, but it appears I have to do this first... I can't even send PMs.

So here I am.

I live in central Alabama, have a '94 Turbo Miata, and daily drive a '98 Protege.

We have a '73 2door street ported 12A RX-2 in near mint condition that my brother owns (But he keeps at my house)

Looking into buying an FB or an FC in running / driving condition for $500-$1300 depending on condition.

I've actually got two FB's and one will be up for sale, just not now....really doesn't help you, though, cuz I live in Texas. Go to the Regions boards and find which one is for Alabama and then check out the classifieds for just that region...there's a lot of gems to be found.

This may be a bit off topic concerning your potentional FB acquisition, but how do you enjoy your turbo NA Miata? I've been thinking about getting a Miata as a track car, and I've heard such great things about a turbocharged Miata, and I prefer the NA for its styling and weight.

I have an 90 N/A miata and during autocross days, I pass evo's and subaru's in the corners, but on the straightaways there is no chance.

I think it's an awesome car if you like the go kart feeling.
Just my 2cents.

Oh by the way welcome Augownage great place to learn alot about your car.

I also drive a miata and have a BEGi turbo kit on order, they are great cars even when they are NA. At trackdays I get this great feeling when a lotus or corvette gives you a point by in your $4k miata haha. Obviously its got something to do with the driver, but miatas are extremely capable little cars and with boost they are insanely fast, I'm shooting for around 250whp.

Oh, I absolutely love my Miata. I put a Flyin'Miata Voodoo II kit on it. It scoots now.

I still can't decide if I want an FB or put the money into my Miata. Still has stock exhaust/suspension!

Someone kick some sense into me and tell me to not go after an RX7

*kick*

Fix your damn suspension first. I remember how tempting getting a new project is, but it never ended too well for me, and I spread my funds too thin and ended up with 2 half done cars.
