Hello from Atlanta
Hello everyone,
My name is Steve and I currently reside in Newnan which is about a half-hour south of Atlanta. I've been fortunate enough to own a few nice cars in my life with my most recent one being a 2003 WRX with a full STi swap. During my visit to Houston this past weekend for TX2K12, the car had an engine fire and burned completely in front of my own eyes. An incident I never want to experience again in my life.
Now that I'm in the market for a replacement vehicle, I'm looking for a clean and properly swapped LSx FD. Now with that being said and new to this forum, I'm not sure how you guys react to me wanting one without the rotary. Honestly, with the headaches I endured with the Subaru and the Evo I had prior, I just want to enjoy something all-motor for a while. Why an FD though? The body lines are timeless, IMO. They're becoming harder and harder to find in a clean state now that they're ~20+ yrs old.
I look forward to owning one in the next few months and being a supportive member of the forum.
Regards,
Steve Richardson

Welcome Steve! Honestly most people on here are not fans of LSX swapped RX7's because you are removing the "soul/essence" of what the RX7 is, but screw em, its your choice and car so do what makes you happy.
People who have done LSX swaps seem to be very happy with them as they are more reliable, easier to work on, easier to find shops to work on them (I know in my area there are very few shops trustworthy of working on rotaries and assume there are many any area's like that), better gas mileage, cheap replacement/aftermarket parts, etc...
Good luck on your search!

I forgot I had created an introduction thread and figured I'd provide an update letting everyone know that I finally found the perfect FD for me which I ended up purchasing a couple weeks ago. I can honestly say this is my favorite car I've owned to date (keep in mind that I've owned ~20 vehicles).
Here is a picture that was taken of it at this past Sunday's Caffeine & Octane.
