fng trying somethin new
name is ben. this old timer that i used to work with gave me the idea to put a rotary engine into my bug after i blew up the one that was in there. after a year of him workin on me i have decided to go with it and found this site when doin research. might be the first guy in my little city to do this. some of the others did the subi swap and the others like there oldschool air cooled. i cant give up my bug since it has made me a part of the culture where i live and i miss driving it terribly but i want more out of it at less cost. i think im going down the right road and i know it will last longer. i am completely new to the rotary seen but love to spin wrenches. hope i came to the right place for odd ball Q's and brain pickin.
thanks
ben

Ben, you old timer, you used Facebook to join? That's a bold move to play in that yard, for sure. I've got an account but this old man never spends anytime on it. All the peeps that talked me into opening the account keep sending me Emails telling me to get online.
As an asides, that is going to be one scary bug when you get done, for sure. Thanks for registering and welcome aboard, Ben! Everything has been done before on this website, so I'm sure good answers will be waiting for each of your questions as you work your way through the build! have fun, maihn!
