1986 JDM turbo FC in route
Hello everyone my name is Adam. I'm currently stationed in Japan and purchased a 1986 turbo. Relatively clean with 63000 km (40000 miles). I had it for about 4 days and then took it to the docks to get shipped to the US. Destination is California hopefully customs won't give me to hard of a time but I know cali smog test will. Anyways this is a great forum I was already able to troubleshoot my AC issue. I'm new to rotary and I'm looking forward to the challenge. I have already learned so much by just reading through random posts. Can't wait to meet up with some folks in Cali and figure out how to attack this beast. I definitely want to mod her but have to do the tune up first. I do have pictures but can't seem to figure out how to attach them maybe because I'm only operating from my iPhone. Looking forward to some good conversation and learning a ton. Thanks.

I see you've got a Noble White GT-Limited Special Edition, what our stateside GXLs aspire and were meant to be. There are some differences in wiring and a few parts, but nothing too worrisome. Park it next to my car and no one could tell the difference...untill you start them
If you're up to posting your chassis number, I'd like to run a build sheet on it. It's not everyday that we come across such a clean example of a J-spec FC. AFAIK, the GT-Limited SE was introduced in August 1986 with FC3S-108045. In contrast, the first FC off the production line was was a Pure Red GT model on 9/4/1985, chassis number FC3S-100031.

I'd love a full translation of my jdm convertible I bought. The chassis number is FC3C-100394. I viewed the chassis codes before I purchased it but wasn't exactly sure what all of it meant. I do believe my car was originally white before the custom paint.
Also, now that I looked a little closer at your white jdm turbo car I remember that unique rear valance and was about to try and buy it myself in Japan but I found my convertible instead.

Guess I didn't notice your response until now. Anyways it would be cool to now some history on it FC3S-107867. Still have it here at Edwards afb in California. No luch registering it, will cost to much in this state. Just sitting in the garage
