best body for the FD, i got to see this thing first hand when my buddy owned it for a bit. i would have loved to buy it off him and do it up right, the way it was when that first guy owned it

how can you say this about the asuka? from the front, it gives aggression to the fd, without destroying the essence of the original body

I dont care what you say. This is the best wide body RX7.

 

I actually hate that RE kit. Doesn't even look like the car anymore. The best kit would just be one that looks like a wider version of the car as it is. Some have come close but everybody manages to add some unnecessary detail in or flub up something.

 

99 Spec OEM License Plate + Pettit Fender Flares, and Feed Skirts + Diffuser = WIN

Gives you the factory front end and only whats necessary, wider rear for more meat.

I'll be doing this as soon as funds are available. To each his own, but the car becomes a fragile piece of paper with all those fiberglass panels. Its almost as if we owners get desensitized to how beautiful this car is in its natural state, and then we feel the need to keep changing/adding/modifying. If you sit back, and realize the factory body is one of the most beautiful looks in the automotive industry, nothing is really necessary.

I hate the '99 OE license plate brick, but that's another discussion entirely. The Pettit flares, while nice, are awfully big, and without a matching front treatment (of which there are virtually none), the car can look like a tractor from some angles.

 

Trying to find this frotn bumper hoox me up guys. I see someone selling it with a car on craigslsit but I emailed Amemiya and scoot. Scoot says it's a one off but I see a guy selling one with the same front bumper on craigslist.

I had the diffuser too, but when my wife gave me **** about 'ricing' my car out before I mounted it I decided to sell it. Kinda regret that.
