The faspac hood will not fit with the stock intake, you may have to factor in the price of a new intake too, which will brink you up to the $1k mark.

Ernie, no matter what hood you chose (I like the Scoot or mazdaspeed) paint it!

There is nothing more ghetto rice than an unpainted CF hood! Your car is real nice as it is now, Id hate to see it with a CF naked hood

I think your car will look really good with a subtle vented hood like the mazdaspeed.

Im not sure if the Mazdaspeed Rspec and Mazdaspeed vented are one and the same, but I got vented Mazdaspeed from Jason @ the RX7 store. Actually he's now sponsering me

Ernie I had mine painted as you know and the paint cracked at the far right side of the drivers side vent. I don't think this is common and I know there is no easy fix. Just letting you know in advance that it may happen to yours as well. I had top notch painters as well so It just was one of those things. I'll have to get a stock hood now for back up in case the paint crack gets really ugly. I can get pics up if your interested.

I do love the hood though.
