? on install of 99 winkers

what is the best way to install them? do i need a special harness? i could not come up with anything in the search. thanks in advance.

just cut off the wires form your original harness and rewire them. You can search and find the same answer.

I dont think there is an istallation thread on it, its pretty stright forward if you have your stock harness and get the 99 spec turn signals with the bulbs. If you have any type of experience (basically cutting and soldering) working with electrial wires its a no brainer. If you have the 99 blinker, just compare it to your stock one, there are three or four wires that go to the same bulbs as the 99 ones. Your stock ones just dont fit in there cause the socket is a diffrent pattern, but they are basically the same thing.

Its real easy to figure out. There is one wire that goes to both lights on the older lights. That wire is the ground. I would get three female electrical ends from autozone, well I guess you would need a box, 3 for each side and do some testing until you got it perfect. Crimp them on after testing the turn signal and hazards. Them use some black silicone and fill up the hole so the connectors will not pull out.

ok. thanks for the help. i haven't really looked at it, just wanted some knowledge going into the installation.
