VIS C/F Scoot Hood Fitment issues?
Ok, my upper intake manifold is getting in the way of me closing my hood....
I have all the hood attachments on there... rain gutters, etc etc... if I remove the center support from the hood it will fit just fine, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
Please throw me some input.
Thanks,

I took a one inch hole saw and made a grid pattern above the UIM. It looked very nice, as long as you have proper measurments. The leading edge of the UIM is where it contacted the hood, so above the foremost runner I made an oblong oval shape that resembled the runner to give it clearence. But, don't you have a strut tower bar? If so, you had to cut a notch into the tunnel anyway to fit it.
Currently, I have cut out most of the tunnel all together because I finally got my SMIC installed and they definatly are not compatible.
Finally, remember, you can use washers at the mounting bolts to raise the hood a bit at the back. Then, which you should do anyway, loosen and re-align your fenders for the best possible reveals.
