Tweeter Mounts?

I just bought speakers for my car that come with tweeters. Im trying to figure out the best spot to mount them and i thought of the small triangle in the doors. Ive never really done any fab work before and wondered if anyone had any tips?

this is what i did for the front panels. Real simple, just measured the diameter and cut with a dremel then used tweeter hardware that was provided

what i did for the back speakers

yeah a dremel would work or if your picky about he hole a small hole saw that fits the diameter should work. just make sure there is enough room behind the triangle for the speaker and wiring before you cut

1) Search. It's been covered many a time.

2) I personally would not cut holes into OEM door panels that may become impossible to replace in the near future

3) It is NOT a good idea (from an acoustic point of view) to mount the tweeters separate from the speakers in the rear. There goes your imaging. IF you use tweeters at ALL in the rears, mount them in front of the cone. But you don't even need tweeters in the rear in the first place (assuming you have a correct audio setup).

4) Search again lol. https://www.rx7club.com/interior-exterior-audio-26/6-5-rounds-fd-front-662486/ should get ya started.

i put my tweeters on the dash right by the A pillar, I had bought my speakers b4 i got my car so i ended up with 5 1/4 trying to fit them into a 4" dash spot, got it to work, sounds really good too, the tweeters end up being almost the same distance away from you as the speaker itself, everyone that hears it says it sounds great and you can hear every little cymbol, can't complain..
my rear tweeters i just mounted them to the stock speaker cover pretty much right in the center, all 4 tweeters are facing almost the center of the car, the fronts face more to the seats but a little to the center, the rears face right to the middle of the car..

like i said, great sound..
