You have to
1) disconnect the hoses
2) rip back the paper underhood lining
3) pinch the sides of each squirter from underneath
4) push up through the top of the hood
I left mine off, because i didn't want to drill into the hood. I don't remember, but i don't think my hood had holes for the little clips that hold the hose along the edges either.

When I did mine this is what I did:
Peel back the liner a little
Pull the hoses off
I then used a deep well socket, I think 10mm, and pushed that onto the barb, wiggled it around so that it would pinch the retainers in while with my other hand wiggled and pulled up the washers. Alot easier than trying to get plyers in there.

No it's not Turbo'd
I bought another set from mazda, $30 or so as I recall... and another $30 for all the hoses but hey I wanted to do it right without basterdizing my old hood... (plus it's more re-sellable that way)
