hey i was thinking about gettin street glow under the car. what you guys think? also how long does it take to install and do u have to drill holes?

 

i have a black rx7 and i just put green neon's under the car. it looks really good. their not hard to install, it took me about 3 hours though. you will need to drill four holes under your car for each tube on the side and three holes for each tube in the front and back. other than that it's basically just running the wires under your car. since i took my foglights off i ended using the switch already in the car for the neons instead of mounting a new switch. n mo

 

Personally I don't like neons because they are over done and serve no purpose.. Oh and the bulbs freeze in the winter and then there's a chance you could break them by doing a little performance driving...

Why is it that the FD is off-limits to some apperence mods? I personally would like to have some neons under my FD for when I go to car cruises, I think it looks cool. rx7mazdarx7, do what you want to do to your 7, it's your car.

 

Oh my dear god. You guys are putting NEON on the underside of the car? That trend went out 8 years ago - in rural Michigan no less. Jesus Christ, what are you people doing to your FDs?

(nurse to my wife): It's okay ma'am, I'm sure the drugs we're giving him will help him calm down. Although, he keeps repeating the phrase "neon on fds, neon on fds" as he beats his head into the wall. Does that mean anything to you?

 

I would love to have a set of silver neons under my silver fd i think that looks tight as hell.

When I actually start on body (interior and exterior) mods I'm sure people will call my car rice, but I don't care! It's about what I like. If I want to roll into a car show and flip on the undercarrage neons (don't have them yet) then I will!
