Some interior pics
Just polished the aluminum heater ***** yesterday, I'll get some more pics this weekend with them installed. Check out my thread in the N.W. section for more pics!
The touchscreen is an Eclipse avn-5435, I made the aluminum trim ring on a mill and polished it. The steering wheel is a Momo race with some custom silver carbon wrapped on it. Attaching it is a Kyb quick release hub. Flyrx7 made the guage pod. The guages are Apexi EL meters, boost, egt, and pressure. The ***** are from Rx7.com- polished them to match the cluster rings. The dash, triangles, and armrests were sent to Indonesia to be done. I'm considering adding an Apexi DECS tach also, that will give me two more guages (pressure and temp). I might mount it on the door.

The trim pieces were wrapped and cleared by an Indonesian company. I don't know their name or address because I had a local tuning shop send them out and they're not doing business in the states anymore. The turn around time was a couple months and the cost was $1100. They also offered a carbon fiber in titanium, which was inbetween my silver and the common black in twill weave you often see. The tuning shop was called Premeir autowerks. I would consult Shine auto project and Aerofiber if I wanted anything wrapped in c.f. I have a Feed hood, and sideskirts in twin weave from Shine and the Feed spoiler to match from Aerofiber. Check with Evo-R also because they make door handle covers as well. I'm getting the Feed ones though. Good luck on your mission!
I got the pod from FLYRX7. It snaps into where the center speaker grill was. I mounted my razr to the wheel via velcro. The phone has a razr shield on it in clear. I also have a hands free bluetooth Motorola ihi-1000 car kit installed which is voice operated.
I did the polishing with a dremel tool. Slowest setting using the felt attachment along with some green metal polish. The trick is to sand off any scratches left by the previous sanding or tooling marks. I put in about 4 hrs just on the *****. My contribution to my ongoing project.
Thanks, If I knew the people that wrapped the trim panels, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Anyway here's more pics from this weekend, some door shots and one of my ECU.
The door hinges just got welded on saturday, they're from GT Factory. I recommend them if your thinking of going this route. I have a lot more pics of the whole install up to this point in the n.w. section under (my fd build) if you guys are curious.
just curious, why do you have your cell phone velcroed to your steering wheel? especially, since you have a blue tooth headset.
not my style, but looks like good quality work.

I decided to mount the cell on the wheel for easy access. Otherwise I have to dig in my pocket while driving. I have a microphone mounted by the visor for the handsfree kit and it broadcasts the conversation via the stereo speakers. Sometimes privacy dictates using just the phone and it's easy to get to. The car really has no place to store anything while driving. There is the driver's side pocket in the door but when the doors go vertical, everything would spill out. It doesn't bother me while driving anyway. Five speeds- everyone has them, it's fun to shift and if you like to launch your car off the line for racing it's better than the auto. Not putting it down. I like the auto because of stopping on steep hills all the time and it's fun to drive. I'm happy with it. I plan on showing the car not autocrossing it or trying to beat some speed record. It's not a daily driver, just use it for cruising around on weekends. The Gt Factory hinges are nice because they still open like stock and you don't have to raise the doors to attract attention if you don't want to. It's all about showing off my car everywhere I go.
