Shift ****

Ok. This is going to sound retarded, but my friend's **** in his FD is crap. The leather is all gone now. I like a good heavy **** like what is in the FD, and was wondering if anyone had used a MOMO Combat shift ****. I let him borrow my '87 **** and he says it's too light.. I agree. He likes the feel of the transmission too, and doesn't want to buy a light ****. Is this just me or does anyone else feel like a heavy **** is better. Can anyone else recommend a good ****? This one has to be replaced, and it's a function b4 form type deal. No neon light up ***** or any crap here. Just good solid shifting.
Don.

i just got a mazdaspeed leather shift **** and it is exactly what you are describing. it's heavy like the OEM FD one and a bit larger. it is actually a little heavier than the OEM one and is supposed to work with the shortshifter kit but does not have to. it has very subtle looks too compared to most aftermarket shift *****. i recommend it. www.corksport.com has them for $57.

I have the MazdaSpeed one as well. I like it. I would never want a metal shifter ****. Metal gets too hot and cold for me.
