I think I answered this somewhere else for you..... but I'll tell you again.... GET a window antenna, less then 100 buxs and mounts inside underneath your back windshield.

I had mine shaved. The body shop welded the hole shut and filled it. Can't even tell it was there now. Out cars have a second antena in the rear glass. Doesn't work good for am though, but I never use it.

I want to shave off my antena too. Do you know how much a body shop is going to charge to shave it off and paint the spot?

Yes that's exactly what I was told about welding a little metal circle in there and then smoothing it out.
I have no idea how much it would cost to do it because I'm having it done while the car is being painted and by a friend. I would guess it would be expensive though since they have to take out the antenna by taking out the panels inside the trunk on the right side, then welding that hole, then filling it and smoothing it out, and then repainting that entire panel.

I will definetaly post pictures when it's done. I took some pictures of the car while its in the first stages of being painted that I will also post by the end of this week.

Garfinkle removed his 6 years ago ,he put in an active antenna ,cost about $30. it went bad last weak. He got a cheap mast antenna at wall mart .There is a hole on the brace that holds the rear hach latch the antenna fit there ,under the cover, out of sight ,this antenna cost under #10 and works as well.

No antenna see. Looks much better, but I did just alittle more then cut out a metal piece to cover it, i wielded a new fender, same effect tho.

yeah look at the huge difference shaving the antenna makes!!!!! hahaha
how can you concentrate on the antenna part!
if you had a 20 foot long antenna people wouldn't even notice with a sweet car like that
this is all one huge compliment if you couldn't tell

Yea Crash, I always admired your car man. When I'm around LA next time, you gotta let me check out your ride. I'll pay you .

Also was wondering, but what are those 2 flip-switches on the center console for?

They use to serve as my nitrous switches, but since I do not run nitrous anymore, one is for the battery kill switch, and the other one is for my "annoying passanger eject button." Ask TwinTurboTeddy about it, he's enjoyed it a few times.

Buwahhaah. I'd love to ask TTT, but he never answers his PM's . So why do you need a kill switch?
