Renovating to MINT Condition- a 1990 vert
Hello There Everyone! I am new to the forum and a proud new owner in the world of the RX7. I just bought a 1990 convert. With 164,000 miles, I am restoring the entire car to factory mint.
This brings me to ask a few questions...and I already tried the search engine on this site.
1. I need some floor mats---who doesnt right? I have no problem with after market---they seem easy to find, but I want the RX7 on the mat--like it was OEM. Does anyone have any information?
2. WTF is wrong with Mazda? I have been pricing out new parts---DAMN everything is crazy expensive. My new arm rest was $80.00---but damn it looks good all brand new.
3. I need to refinsh my seats. I am willing to spend the money, just need to know who can do it---a little help if anyone has it.
Thanks and I LOVE my car. WHen I graduated high school in 1990---all I wanted was a 1990 white convertible---now I have it!!!

any decent upholstery shop can redo your seats. Expect to pay 1-2k for it though. Yeah, Mazda parts are expensive (the seats are 2.5k each) but there's always good ole ebay.
