Question where can i get one of thoughs front air dams that hang down

you know the ones that have the two little bar that hold it up in the front they usually come in carbon fiber. they go right under the front bumper......got any ideas?

is a lip for show? or is it to keep rocks and dirt from getting throu the front air holes?

The '99 Spec Lip (in the link above) adds downforce to the front of the car. The holes on either side of the lip are for brake ducts.

What you are referring to are splitters. The rods that you see are there to keep the splitter from being pushed up from the air. Check this thread about DamonB who made his own:

RE has one that is part of the undertray:





However, it's about $1000. I don't know of anyone who just makes the splitter.... You might check with Chuck of Rotary Extreme.

Lips can also increase the flow of air to certain areas, like the brakes or oil coolers

splitters i didnt know thats what they were called ..damn i didnt know they were that much
