It's obvious the V1 get high praise here and deservedly so. However, the Passport 8500 has scored higher in Ka band on every test since it came out. Check out thier website. The company's name is Escort.
Please no flames. The V1 is indeed awesome but pricey and I prefer the features of the Passport 8500. New from Escort it runs $300.
My Passport has saved me countless times.
