First off, do whatever the hell you want. Its your car, and you shouldn't have to ask us. However it is fun to see peoples reactions. I have to say DEAR GOD DO NOT DO IT! FOR THE LOVE OF THE ROTARY DO NOT GET RACING STRIPES! The stripes look good on muscle cars. The RX-7 doesn't need stripes to look badass. I just think that big fat racing stripes look like *** on a rex. The off center ones look alright, but no stripes is the way to go.

If color coordinated properly racing stripes can be really awsome. For example, a red car would look good with yellow stripes, a black car with red, silver with blue perhaps...Its all in the color coordination. Also ive seen FD's in Japan with racing stripes that look incredible. The offset can help a lot too like KNOFS's car.

Like all appearance 'mods' if it's done in good taste, then it looks alright. Some stripes look stupid, depending on the color scheme, while some look badass. Just keep it in good taste.

I dunno man, even if I voted no, I think it is all about personal taste. Just like someone might prefer one color to another. Why do you ask us, it is your car and you're not doing it for other ppl but for yourself. I'm not old, 23, and I do love old american muscle cars but IMO, racing stripes just doesn't look good. I also always prefered the stock look to body kits and such.... Clean paint, tinted windows, nice rims and that's it, nothing more. But again, like I just said, it's all about personnal taste.
If you want, do like Revolutiontuning said. Cheap and if you don't like it you can always get it off.

Mr. Stock has done the 99-spec front end conversion, has a dark blue paint job, & a silver stripe or 2 down the center....
I think it looks pretty damn nice. He's not one to mess with useless mods

Please Dodge started Le Manns stripes please it was Ford/Shelby and Shelby helped make the Viper and the stripes were put on in his image!!!! every one else copied that Idea (Chev and Dodge) now that thats done.
I do like stripes if done right (Glass Man gets that prize)
also look at Auto modllista the game that GT-C looks hot.
and anything is better than the F and F look =)

I'm not sure why you are calling it rice. There is a definite difference between "rice" and just plain "poor taste".
