Push Button Starter
I can't seem to find on my hard drive the saved forum page with the push button starting info. I just need to know what the part number was so I can swing by honda and get it from the parts department. The starter was like $12 right? I'm sure I have the instructions on here somewhere.

I am the one that posted the original on the forum with the write-up and how-to. I bought my starter on the web at H and A Accessories . I believe it was around $40 after shipping.

Thanks
Hopefully it will be here this week before i put my downpipe in this weekend. I'll just do it all at once. I'll have to bring my digi cam to document it all for everyone else who's interested. Thanks again!

Yeah it fits, but only in the FD , and only in the FD is the place of the lighter good-looking and hand. In the FC the lighter is out of the way...
In the FC there is no other place to drill a hole...you -and I- have to figure out something totally different...

some wires and relay and the buttons costs no more than 50 all together....unless you want to buy a dremel(sp?) tool to make the cig. hole larger(which is required)...I used the flier(sp?) from the flat tire repairing kit.........
the installation will be a lot easier if you connect the relay and to button, read and understand the instructions, open up your PC out and cut the extra 3 1/4 drive connector(used on the button and acted as a harness) before taking the car apart....it should take you no more than 2 hrs total if you follow my instructions....
if you know what you are doing, it'll take less than 1 hr...
good luck

I definitely want to get a push button starter (when I get my FD). Seems a little complicated though. Why do I need a PC power harness? And what the hell is a PC power harness? I'm not too good with that computer stuff. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do that, including taking apart one's PC and stuff like that. Pics would also be nice.

You can probably jsut search for the instructions. if need be I can probably write it up and include a few pictures of when i did it. It's pretty basic though. Asuming you know how to solder. =)
