Pictures of Scoote hoods

I bought a Scoote hood and I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to leave in unpainted, paint it, or paint everything and leave the scoops unpainted.

If anyone has any pics of cars (bonus would be Innocent Blue cars) with unpainted and especially painted Scoote hoods with the scoops unpainted I'd really appreciate it. I searched for a few days for the scoops unpainted and cant find that combo on any car. Thanks.

i have the scoot style hood i gota say i was thinking same things you were and after checking them out and painting them with scoops still carbon and painting it all the way. Haveing the hood completely painted to match your car is better. Either that or leave it carbon. But the hood painted and the scoops left carbon looks like Rice man trust me i did it. id say painting it looks best. U still get all the benifits of a light hood, but your car will look proper instead of Riced out.

Heres some old pictures of mine

Yeah I was leaning towards the full painted hood and seeing that blue FD kind of lets me know I'm leaning towards the right choice. I wanted to see if anyone has done the unpainted scoops because its different and I was curious how it'd look. Hopefully someone can still post it up for me to see. Thanks for the pics.

Yea man i did it that way first, and in pictures it looks cool and different. But in real life up close it looks like ***. It Looks like u gave ur hood to some 4th graders with a bucket of paint and said here have some fun.

Im trying to find this youtube video of a fd with the hood painted but the scoops left carbon its a walk around video and it will convince you its 100% bad.

I seen those threads already. I put up this thread to see some blue FDs and especially to try and find a pic with the unpainted scoops.

If the hood is not carbon fiber then you should definitely pain it...

I have a white fiberglass version. Funny how this thread just came up because just last night I cut up some paper and spray painted them black to install in my vents to get an idea of how it would look painted that way. I wanted to lay carbon fiber in my vents. I will say that to me it looked better without it. Is seems the different color vents draws ALOT of attention away from eveything else. When I paint the car later next month, I plan on putting those sheets back on to see how it looks. Right now my car is in different colors. LOL!
