I really like those head lights. I also like the front bumper. This isnt to bad of a kit. I hope it has as much money under the hood as it does in the body.

Any dynos for this car?

Well he's doing it for SEMA, i don't think he wanted to spedn a cool 30 G's to install a 20B motor. SEMA is all about how crazy your exterior are instead of the performance.

Well some people like to say "Hey look at me" and some like to say "...." as they pas you at 160mph.

Personally, whenever I goto car shows I am always impress by the "go" factor of a car so I am with audiobot on this one.

I agree in the show and go philosophy as well. Every part of the car will be touched from the entire interior being wrapped in suede and carbon fiber, the Cusco 8 pt roll cage, Bride seats, full custom fiberglass stereo and of course everyone favorite tons of lcd monitors[tastefully done of course].

The motor is built as well and we are going to tweak with a new HKS single turbo to hit around the 500 rwhp area without Nitrous. With NOS it should dyno around 575 to 600 rwhp with some more reliablity mods. This car is basically a showcar. It won't see much on the public highways or roads. I still want it to have decent horsepower, but I don't see the need for a 3 rotor. I have my 400 rwhp Silvia S15 for track days if I feel a Need For Speed.

Sounds great! Keep us posted. Always have loved Silvias as well. I would personally switch up the color though, I mean give us something that is gonna scream, " That car is out of this world, I need I-Forged Daytonas on my stock 7" .

BTW, IMO Daytona's alone would make the car look the best.

Again good luck on the project,

Alex

From day one, I've always said this kit would look best in all black. Darker colors would hide some of the less popular lines of the rear end.

I'll add my 2 cents since I saw FF3 car at the Formula D...

First, I'm think the body kit is unique. Its definitely for looks more than for functionality (no way the kit will make the car lighter.. FD stock hoods are very light).
The paint combo is ******* ugly in my opinon.. Iforged, I think if you are going to paint it, please don't do the two tone combo like the FF3. I think the kit would look so much better if it were single color such as all black! Simple and classic.

Also, make sure you put the undertray, wheel well covers and such. I hate cars that are half *** put together and could see the ground from the engine bay (like the one I saw).

I think you need to decide if you want people who own FDs to say WOW, or teens who don't know **** about cars saying WOW.

Iforged, I'm not a bi fan either but either way I think it will be worth wile to see it when it's done. Considering this to be a commercial car It hink it is a good move.

On a sidenote, did you ever investigate to have your wheels tested for TUV and european approval? Resonance testing, high impact tests etc???

I just love this kit! Front and especially the back. I do however think the rivits and the raised lines should be smoothed out on the front bumper and hood. As well as a nice 3 rotor and a big single would make it just perfeect. If I had the money to dump on a body kit, this would be the one I'd get.

iforged, Update us with some more pics.. Can't wait to see the progress of this one.

even though those ricers notice that is the RX7 that was in FF3, they don't have enough money to do it anyway.

you'd be surprised alot of people that make cars rice are 17 year old kids with rich *** parents who buy them the car and give them money. Then without REALLY being enthusaists they throw the money into what was once a nice car. I've seen teens with supra TTs, 300ZX TTs, 3kGT VR-4s, FDs :'(, and other nice cars. Half of these teens worship these cars and keep them clean and nice, the other half ruins them completely. And almost all of them got the cars from their parents by being spoiled.
