Rencenly I purchese a after marktet hood. The quality is pretty good ? but the hood shrink a bit compare to origioal hood I replace. and there is a big gap between a hood latch . I found a this on RE wed site, "Adjust the latch catch. There are 3 nuts on the latch catch. Loosen the nuts to make adjustment. Most likely you will have to move the latch catch to the lowest setting"
but after I check the latch catch today. yes u can loose the nuts but there is no way u can lower the latch catch. can any one told me how to adJ the latch catch.

If there is a gap between the front of the hood/bumper, then you might be able to loosen the nuts holding the hood on and "pull" it forward a bit.. If the hood when closed is "too high" then you can adjust the catch. Adjusting the catch up and down is not going to move the hood closer to the bumper.. There are 3 bolts that hold the catch and by loosening all of them you can easily move it up down left and right. Sounds like the center nut might not be loose enough. I have put ~6 different hoods on my car for fitting, and the adjustment was easy each time
