Apexi Side Skirts
Now, please don't quote me on this, but it may be something everyone wants to keep in mind if purchasing in the future, but, it seems these side skirts are going away. I had Rich (Goodfella) at Gotham order these for me on DECEMBER 9 and he still doesn't have them. My car goes in the shop in 2 weeks so I need them soon, hence Rich and I talked and I am looking elsewhere. Rich has been helpful and him and Gotham are still good people in my book.
Well, I found them and they were the last pair remaining supposedly at SR. A couple of the other places I found on Google that had them replied saying they were not in stock and Apexi isn't distributing them much anymore, if any. Therefore, the simple side skirts on the "infamous" red 99 spec FD that is always posted here may be gone for good. I may have gotten the last pair outside of scavenging the earth for them.
Once again, don't pin me to the cross, just passing along as FYI. Maybe this will even bring to the forefront some distributors who have them.

It's not exactly a high volume part, given it's price and considering that other - more flashy - sideskirts are likely more popular. Takes a little time, just like most other specialty parts from Japan - just have to be patient.

Well, just so you're aware, I bought my Apexi Side skirts from SR motorsports back in 98 and had the exact same problem. I waited for almost 3 months before they finally got some more in stock. Most likely a manufacturing issue than a discontinuation.

^They don't have any just Knightsports replicas along with others. If people are having problems with getting these skirts maybe Chuck at RotaryExtreme can make them to possibly eliminate these probs. It would be good. Apexi's price is a bit high, Jason at the RX7store sells them for 299 a side.
