I don't think it'll rattle...I KNOW it will lol. $20 says it will in fact. That's why I'd have to use dynamatting material before placing the hatch plastics onto the CF hatch.

As for labor...umm...you don't wanna know haha. I was lucky because my guy @ Tweeter was the epitome of customer service. Because I was unhappy w/ the two 8w7s I had gotten from them 6 months prior, they actually refunded me full price for both the two subs and the box they made. So all in all, I only ended up paying for the new 12" (the refunded amount covered making the custom enclosure).

Ya i got my install and equipment at tweeter aswell. I am also running the alumpro 5 farad cap and monster cables, but i also have the 1000/1 with another sub. I looked into a higher output alternator, dual alt. and blah blah blah. After dropping the kind of money i did for a basic setup I cant get any of that yet. Anything I can do now..free?

Yep, keep the volume low, and use the headunit's sub controls to turn down the level of the subs

Materials (wood for the back of the enclosure and a new floor for the trunk, plus fiberglass, and carpeting) ran $150. The labor on the enclosure itself ran $1K. Then $350 for sanding and painting the enclosure.

Those are the list prices on the ticket, but thankfully all I had to pay for was the sub itself. Oh and keep in mind that labor on the East Coast is a LOT more expensive than it is in Cali (my friend used to get a timing belt changed in Cali for $250, which is a $800 job here )
