MP3 Player

Hi

I'm looking for a Headunit for my Mazda that play mp3 from a Harddrive on my trunk.

So Far I have find these two and they don't seem all that good.

Neo
http://www.ssiamerica.com/products/neo35/index.shtml

Sony Xplod MEX-1HD
http://www.techtv.com/freshgear/prod...401468,00.html

As a alternative if I can't find a good mp3 player with a harddrive I'm thinking to go with a headunit with a MP3 CD changer. this is the kind of Headunit I'm thinking to go for but this one doesn't have CD Changer support features.

Can some one help me out to find a good mp3 player with a Harddrive or a good mp3 player with CD changer support features?

thanks

Alex

Pioneer recently came out with a 10GB internal HD MP3 DIN headunit. A little pricey, and the pre-outs and other features are a touch on the weak side, but it does have the pioneer quality edge over the listed sony.

It will pull up on the pioneer website; I am too lazy to do a search.

It'd be nice if they made a Premier version of it, a little cheaper, with some decent power. Maybe this year's model, eh?

Only 3K bones!

This is half the price, and will support a CD changer.

Poke around the site... its pretty easy to find what you're looking for.

Congrats.

First off, it is the listed price from pioneer itself, obviously not the best price, and secondly, the prices stated were in canadian, since the poster lives in Toronto.

Do you want a pat on the back? A round of applause?

Did you read what I said? Pioneer only asks $890 for it US, you're not getting that huge a discount.

The prices I listed were Canadian.

Oh, ok. That makes logical sense. You didn't read the links properly (which specifically showed a Canadian flag, and listed the prices as Canadian), and then start rattling off about how you can get such a better deal, and this is MY fault?

As to what makes this forum suck... I posted a response that gave the thread starter related information; you just came to park about the deals you can pick up. I have posted 2000+ technical emails into this section of the forum, and I am making it suck?

Bah, I don't care. I simply questioned your motives for posting. I'm sorry if sarcasm is lost on you.
Now that I've posted your mistake, you decide to try and blame "all of the problems on the forum" onto me.

Way to go, buddy. Now you really deserve that pat on the back.

Suck, eh? Let's take a look at all the fantastic knowledge you have contributed to the forum in the past few posts:

This was a great addition to the forum. Definitely belongs in technical advice.

ok...how about mine...my stupid lights dont come on (blinkers) i can here the tick tick noise they make, but they dont come on inside or outside. they have never worked exept this one time for like 5 minutes, then they shut themselfs off. headlights work fine, so do break lights, but hazzards and blinkers dont. i checked my light switch and it is not melted.
You should get into electronics. I love your method of determining the root of a problem: use the five basic senses... forget specific testing using tools designed for electronics.
A chimp could have reported the same data on your problem.
You misspelled "brake" and "hazards". We learned that in elementary school. Way to go.
By the way: "blinkers" would be your "Turn signals". Way to be Technical when asking for Technical advice.

A simple look into the easily available FSM would have pointed you on your way, but instead your lazy *** had to clutter up bandwidth.
Fantastic.
"Resoldered" is the correct spelling, and it's actually behind the driver's side kick panel, not under your bum.

Hmm... more bragging about your fantastic car audio deals. *pats apreludem on the head*
Was it really necessary to list that in your post?

We all needed to know the answer to THIS important question.

Anyway, I think we all need to give apreludem a round of appluase for his forum contributions today. B/c after all, without apreludem, this forum would surely go to hell!

Why not stop playing and just get what you know you should get, ALPINE. The setup with a deck and the changer could be had for about $600. Or Do the Kenwood Keg, price for that including a deck would start about $580. Both in my opinion better overall then any pioneer setup. Dont get me wrong, the 9400 is a very good deck, but for the money thier's better. And i'm not talking out my ***, I install this stuff for a living.
