Hopefully goodfella will chime in. He bought a whole new interior a while back. As for what you asked for in this thread, I think a clean dash, middle console (tranny tunnel cover?) and seats are best to find used. You can definitely find a clean set of what you need easily, especially in CA.

Ditto on searching locally for nice, used parts. I bet $10K is pretty close for what all you are looking for. Have you tried using anything on the dash to bring some life back to it? (on that note, DON'T use armorall, I have personally had it completely ruin 2 dashes...)

Did some checking on Mazdapartscheap.com. Two door panels are close to $3k. Two seats are $6k?! Dash is a relative bargain at $2k with glove box, cluster cover and vent cover. Bins are $600, and other interior panels are in the $400 each range. Even ignoring the seats, $10k would not be much of a stretch.

Back seats retrimmed for 500US
Front seats retrimmed for 500US each
Rear console , gear ****, e-break cover, shifter cover for retrimmed 100US
I got mine retrimmed with nice coloured stitching to match the colour of my car. looks way more classy than stock.
Just get to know someone who does upholstery and you'll be in for good deals too. :-)

Yeah, the question in my mind is: Is this a matter of 'improving' the existing interior or are we talking refashioning a car that has been gutted?
I'm thinking for around $2000US you can have a pretty damn good looking interior.
Replace Carpet - $670
Recover Seats - $500
Repaint Trim - $50 +time
Replace Worn/Broken bits - $500
That's $1720... another $280 for incidentals... you're golden.
NOW Replacing a complete interior might cost another $1000 or so if you're buying used/good condition pieces. PM Fritz Flyin, gmonson or keep your eyes on the For Sale to get what you need.

man, why don't you guys just take out what you've got and get it re-trimmed in some new leather looking material... I'm doing that for mine and it's much cheaper than what you guys are talking.

If your interior black I would apply the same technique as this.

I did it on my FB and it looked great even with the summer heat and the car park outside 24/7 with a glass moonroof.
