I don't know the Bride in particular but most aftermarket bolsters are too wide in the shoulder area and hit the door panel.

Wow,
Those look great! What part of the seats were hitting your panels? I called the US distributor for Bride and they said there should be no fittment issues with any of they're recline-able seats. I guess they were full of it. Which ones did you get the ERGO's?

bride actually has a pair for the rx-7. they have lower bolsters on their respective sides so they slide right in.

Inis,
What Bride's are those? What are they calling them? Are they a Racing shell or a reclineable? I know they are coming out with like the Ergo II and the Brix II and I think those are a bit narrower but, I haven't seen the ones that you are talking about. I would be very interested in those.
Thanks

I know of them, but i cant think of the model name right now. ill try to check and see if i can get more info.

I should correct myself, they were not made specifically for the RX-7, just cars LIKE the Rx-7. the types of cars that need a smaller bolster on a peticular side.

Inis,
Cool, let me know what you come up with man. It seems as though from what my experience has been with some reclineable sport seats is that there is a big problem with the side bolsters not so much the shoulder bolsters, however I did have a RECARO SPG in my FD and the shoulder bolster did in fact hit a little. RECARO NAO is now marketing a new version of the SRD called the SPEED which looks like it is the same as the SRIII that is marketed in Japan. I wonder if that still would have fitment issues, I am tempted to buy one from somewhere that I can return it if it doesn't fit.
Thanks

I think they need to make the Bride logo a little more prominent.

Maybe if it was in neon, or better yet, IN a Neon.

sorry guys..i accidentally posted twice..and was only keeping track of the other post..hehe..my bad...let me answer all the questions....ok i'll take better pictures of it this week.. I had actually got them as a present for my birthday and had to get the rails myself...so when my friend went to japan he got me a set of rails.
as far as cutting the panels...i had to remove the panel..and dremel off the bottom ..nothing crazy..but something i wish i didnt have to do..
The seats wouldn't slide all the way back..b/c it was hitting ... and im tall so that wasn't something i could avoid not taking care of....It also hits the door only on the driver side though...But i can see how you can use them if it was a race car or something similar without any interior..
I know they kind of went crazy with the BRIDE LOGO ..i myself prefer the all black..without the fading logo..hehehe...but i can't really be picky if i didn't pay...

oh yeah..forgot to say they are ERGOS...i'm filming this week so i'll see when i can post pics of the front view to get a better feel for the way they actually look....

the harnesses I installed eyebolts where the stock seat belts would have normally gone..one of those harnesses as you can see is on the passenger floor ..and the top shoulder harnesses i havent really attached..i has just put them there to kind of guess where to put them....the passenger side was not really accessible to the takata harnesses..it wasn't really gonna fit..so i took them off of that side...soooooo....i'll let you know when i figure it all out..hhahaa...

Shaluv639,
Ahhh I get it, you had to cut the panel where the rear speakers are. What a bummer. Did you try taking off that ****? I know some of the other guys on the forum that have sparcos have done that with success. Where on the drivers side door is it hitting? Is it by the storage compartment by the door handle release thing? Sorry to bother you with so many questions but, I am thinking of buying some of those seats myself and am really interested in your whole experience.
