Hey, sorry you're not feeling so hot and I hope you get better. I just thought maybe you were driving around already finished and forgot about us. I totally get waiting to get a deal. I'd do the same. Looking forward to the result.

i wish it was done.... i am going to hop in there this week and start sanding it. but because i put the shop name and number on my rear hatch, now he says he wants it lookingg perfect no acception... meaning he might mold in alot of stuff or what ever... uhg.. its honestly ready for paint. the body kit's flaw at the gas tank door is not going to be fixable with out buying a new (maybe more shitty) bumper...

goes to show what happens if you dont think something threw!

yeah... i actualy like it too but unfotunatly driving around with primer is no no, primer absorbs everything and everything sticks to it.. not so good for painting =X hence why i have to sand it again before i paint it.

Red? is that part of the under coat or did you change your color choice?
(I read most of the thread.....might have missed something)
looks good either way.

i changed my color because if i were to go with the chameleon, lets say there was a flaw or i got in an accident and needed to touch up or repair. the color wont blend well and it will be completely obious and will never match. no thank you!!!

i chose the color of my scion instead. its a pearl red with blue red and white pearl in it. very deep color. cell phone shows it as deep red in one pic but kind of orange in next. no its really really read i'll get pix up today. i'm on my way back to shop now

there are some lil flaws here and there but nothing extreamly noticable. the car would have taken an expert to get it to be perfect. concidering how much it went threw and how many layers of spray paint it had on it. i think it turned out damn good.

i'll post pictures. i just got home and i am exhausted.

no way. i couldnt have picked a better color. it looks simply amazing in person. it completely accents the fenders and body lines perfectly with the pearl and metalic in the paint too... and its dark base coat really brings the paint to a different level then the paint on my XD

so its out of the booth. all other parts are painted, painted some lil items with black paint
rear spoiler most likely wont be going back on for a while.
black door jams look fricken sweet. contrast, and its something different that i havent sseen before

rx7 is slightly darker and has more depth then the scion, we used a dark gray sealer that made the color of the red that much nicer. o and i finaly got a windshield wiper for the back. and painted the arm
