How about Bazooka subs!!!
There cool just make sure you get an 8" or larger. The two previous owers of my car had a 6" and it sounded like sh*t. In fact there was so much distorsion that you couldn't tell that the rear speakers were blown. I have since gone to a 10" Image Dynamic subwoofer with Eclipse amp. Good luck.
OK than,
what about the infinity selfamplified 10'' sub?
The reason i'm looking for combo units is to save space(and to add a little bass)
I hate amps, subs, wires, capacitors and all other stuff
in a street race car. My car is so loud, that I feel sorry to waste money on hi fi sound.

for that money, you shold be able to get a nice audiobahn 8' sub, with a seperate amp that should put out a few db more for the same price, but if its space effiency you want, go 4 the bazooka , why not?
Bazooka Tubes suck with the BOSE system. Don't use this combo. I had this and the output was so low it was almost negligible. I have 2 -10's in a custom box in the spare tire well. I recommend that :-) Mistakes are costly. so it right the first time.
I've had a lot of different systems from Alpine to Sony and bottom line is the Kenwood in dash h/u's are awesome!
93 RX-7: Kenwood eXcelon KDC815 H/U
Boston Acoustic Pro 6.5's in door (with stock grills)
(tweeters mounted on little black triangle @ window level)
Boston Acoustic Rally 6's in rear (with stock grills)
Alpine Amp w/Vega Sub Tube under rear strut bar
91 Miata: Kenwood KDC-V7017 satellite ready CD H/U
MB Quarts in doors
2 Infiniti 3's in each headrest
These systems Kick!

I had a Bazooka tube that came with my car when I bought it. Up front I put some Boston Rally components and ran it with a 4 channel Sony Xplod and a Pioneer double din head unit. I spent a lot of time adjusting the EQ's and it ended up sounding real good. Nice, tight bass which was perfect for my application. It ended up getting stolen and I think I'm going to go with a single 12" in a custom box. The reason for this is because it's going to be much cleaner looking then a tube strapped down under the strut tower bar.
Hey I currently have the 10 inch and it's too big to fit under the strut bar with bazooka tube it has a crazy looking hump on it which make it har to fit under the strut bar. I am currently looking for the infinity basslink box which is smaller than the bazooka tube and it can't be mount vertical/ horzinal also the bsaalink has a 200 watt built into it and plus u can run your rear speaker of the same amp. btw the infinity basslink it not cheap it's $399.00 everywhere I go for the past 1.5 year I spend looking for it and still searching. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW SOMEONE THAT CAN GET ME THE INFINITY BASSLINK FOR AROUND $ 250.00?
