Hello members I would like to have some help finding a New Carbon Fiber ST Hood I'm sick and tired of buying one from a website and finding out that they do not have it in stock. Since they don't let the customer now it's out of stock before they buy it. They take my money give u a confirmation and purchase order saying that they will ship it as soon as it as it's in stock. I will not mention the website cuase i'm a nice guy. This is bogus i've called several other website that also sell the hood and end up having the same problem.

All they give me is a story that the govermnet has bought up most of the carbon fiber not leavning any for the average consumer. I even called Seibon directly and they just told me to contact one of there authorized dealers. Basicaly geting now where.

I want this particular hood and brand because of the best fitment per a poll on the forums.

I realy don't want to do it but if i have to i'll buy a used one but i would have to see it first there fore having to be near the NY area i don't mind traveling. I need this hood asap becuse i have plans of having my car unvailed 3 rotor baby at the HIN in atlantic city. Does anyone feel my pain

I guess i have to call them again and ask for a supervisor or something. I'll call tomorrow and se what they say.

autornd.com deals seibon and i believe rx7store.net does too!

 

I called rx7store and they don't have it. It's on the website but once again not in stock. No back order info given until i called.I did not try autornd.com but i'll bet they will give me the same info i''ll try though.

Gotbanned i spoke dirrectly with Seibon and they said that there is no possible way that they sell to the general public. You must purchase from one of there vendors. I told them what you had posted and they said it's not possible. So i would like to know how did u do it?????

They also told me that none of there vendors have it in stock./ But like i said their still seling them with out syaing they are on back order. They do not even have on eavailabe at Seibon. And they have no idea what to say the guy was not able to give any strait answer why they are taking so long. And olny gave estimated time by smae "well in a few weeks" they are 52 weeks in a year so there's many to pick from

I even mention my car something i don't like to do becasue it can only be used as leverage and that did not even help.

you know come to think of it it did come through another vendor. i will find out for you tonight and let you know. I have the number here somewhere. Mine arrived in a weeks time

 

Why must it be seibon. For another 100 dollars or so you can pick up the one from rotary extreme, which will fit better than any seibon product.

 

not that i have anyting agains't rotary extremes products i personally haven't tried them yet but how do you know the quality of seibon? have you tried any of thier products?

ive seen vis seibon import fan etc etc. Although seibon does fit good, it still isnt perfect. Rotary extremes fit like a glove and if their is any problem of any sort chuck will take care of you. I would pay the extra money just for the customer service.

 

I'm not a big ebay fan. But i'll try it if i have to thanks KaiFD3S. Also i cheked out rotary extreme and they don;t show it on the website. And i believe that they do have many parts but most of use believe that they are over priced. They also don;t make there own parts they buy them they don't mention where they come from only the jdm stuff

I think Gothamracing.com is a Siebon dealer but not sure if they always stock them. Last time I was in their shop in Sept. they had a couple of hoods.

I contacted both of this sellers. And they do not care this item in stock. And i asked them why are they selling something they don't have?????? And all they could tell me is that the item will be shipped to my door step as soon as they get them in stock. The funny part is that not even Seibon has a single hood or have a time when they will be full restocked. How can these companies keep in business. I guess by holding the money of buyers. I'm not going to wait 6 months for a Hood this is outrages.

I have a friend in California that owns a shop, Thomas at Pann Auto. I just ordered one. Will let you know how long it takes to get to me.

 

Yep let me know i've been hear a bunch of stories don't know which one to believe. But differently let me know
