HELP...glo gauges not working

i got my indiglo gauges installed finally...i followed the write up on fc3s.org and they didnt work so i searched here and changed the wire i was tapping to red/green like one of the threads said but the stupid things still won't work... everything else in the dash is getting power but not the gauges....im thinkin i have a bad ground, i tapped a wrong wire, or the gauges are broken

anyway have an idea wats up or how to fix it????

I had same problem, I just gave it straight power from a thick red wire. Sodered it on. Granted they are on all the time, but they work.

I'd like to keep direct power as a last resort...i wanna keep it wired in the dash if at all possible...any more ideas anyone??

I had the same problem, there is a clip that is not connected on the rights side of the rear of the bezel if you have a volt checker turn the lights off and on to see what wire has the power. If I am correct it is the green with red, use the black for the ground. What year is your car?....took me a week to get it and mine work fine.

I meant it is on the right side above the wiper switch connection of the gauge bezel...

mines an 88...and green/red? did u mean red/green?...thats wat its wired into now

probably the ground. Those gauges are tough to get grounded right, and if they're not grounded right they won't work/

well i guess im just gonna have to try a few things when i go home this weekend and hope it works...wat did u ppl end up usin for a grounding point?
